This is where we have our weekly schedule of classes.

Most people who find us are just starting out. At The Studio Yoga, you can choose a schedule of classes that make it easy to get you started because we get it.

To see classes at The Studio Yoga, take a look below.

Next, you might want to find out what’s covered in each class. To that end, you can just click on the name of the class to see a description.


First of all, you can learn more by clicking here if you’ve never tried yoga before. 

Because there’s always questions about yoga, you can read these answers to common questions.

Of course, pricing is a concern. In fact, we are the most cost effective studio in West Michigan. However, we want you to see for yourself. With that in mind, if you want to see pricing on classes and packages, click here!

While some folks have questions, other’s just want to jump in. No problem!

At this point, you may want to learn more about our instructors.

While we love all our Instructors, you might prefer one over another. After all, your instructor is the person who’ll be guiding you to feeling better.

In addition to all of that, we also make accommodations for your needs.

Do you have mobility challenges? We are a wheelchair accessible yoga studio.

For this reason, we welcome you bringing a caregiver to help assist you. In fact, they can attend your classes for free!

    Hi! I am looking for a Christian based yoga class. Do you still offer “Holy Yoga” or something similar? If not, do you know of any studio in the greater GR area that does? (I’m from Comstock Park and am willing to drive 20 minutes or so, if necessary.)

      Unfortunately, we no longer offer Holy Yoga classes, but we would be happy to refer you to another studio that does. Vida Yoga in Grandville has a Holy Yoga donation-based class every Sunday at 7 PM. You can find more information and directions on their website:

    Jennefyr, I have had some issues with my groin from yoga. Recently I was to my doctor and she said to take it easy. My issues disappeared around Christmas to resume when I resumed yoga in the new year. I still have 5 classes on my yearly pass which expire in 3 days. Can something be done to extend my time?

    I am wondering if you have a recommended order of classes for those that are new to yoga and just starting out. I just signed up, but I’m not really sure what class to start with and where to go after that.

      Hi Brittany! Jared here for The Studio Yoga. 🙂

      First off, if you’ve never practiced yoga before, WELCOME! We’re glad you found us, and we’re happy to help you get started. 😀

      Second, any of the Beginner / Light -level classes will work, but we recommend the FUNDAMENTALS 1 classes – we hold them every Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM, Thursday night at 7:30 PM, and Saturday morning at 8 AM.

      Taking even a few of these classes will get you a solid, working foundation that you can then take into other classes such as a Gentle or Slow Flow -style class.

      The three most important points of starting out with yoga is making sure that you –

      1. Practice Safely: Unfortunately, it is VERY easy to over-do it watching online videos or diving head-first into a Power class. Yoga can be incredibly beneficial, but without proper care and instruction you can have a bad experience. Whether it’s with us or another yoga studio, make sure you work with an instructor who emphasizes proper alignment and good technique.

      2. Practice Effectively: Want to tone muscles? Work on balance and coordination? Be able to relax and unplug at the end of the day? Yoga can help with all of those things, but there are class and styles that are more efficient (and effective) for those goals…

      Talk to your yoga teacher about what you’d like to get out your time with us, and they can refer you to the classes that will work best for you…

      3. Enjoy Yourself! Everyone has a less-than-ideal day, but overall? You should be enjoying your time on the mat. If yoga doesn’t make you start feeling like something you want to go to consistently, that’s totally okay. But after 7+ years we’ve found that it comes down to you feeling welcome, feeling a sense of relaxation and accomplishment, and that it feels right for you and your needs…
