… and just in time for the Festival of Holi, too!
Known as the Festival of Colors (AND the Festival of Love), Holi (Sanskrit: होली) has become popular all over the world.
It’s a riotous day of flinging colored powders and colored water to cover everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) in color.
This Hindu festival is sort of a herald of spring, and is held before the vernal equinox (one of two days a year when the amount of daytime and nighttime are equal).
After friend and foe alike are done getting sauced and looking like they were casualties of a pixie stix explosion, the next day is spent cleaning up and visiting with friends and family.
There’s good food, good drink, and good times to be had for all.
… And while we’re NOT going to be flinging dyed corn starch at you after Vino and Vinyasa this First Friday, we WILL have plenty of good wines, tasty treats, and good company.
We’re doing our part to help usher in Spring and beat back the last remnants of cold… Combining Vino and Vinyasa is as good a way as any to warm up!
As always, it’s $12 pre-registration; $14 drop-in, and FREE to those with a 3-month and 1 year Unlimited Membership
